These downloads are a mix of different types of applications; all are aimed at business users. There are categories for Windows, Macintosh and Linux platforms; some are free, some are open-source, and some are trial installs (which usually allow you to buy the full package after a varying number of days). All of these have been tested on my own systems, as well as being in current use by some of my clients.
Also included with the listings are notes on pricing and some documentation. Most of the programs I like to suggest to people are either free or open-source (and free), but I do like to suggest trialware options as well…
FREEWARE — Free to use. Assume for personal AND business use unless otherwise noted.
TRIALWARE — Free to use for limited time; also called SHAREWARE. Usually necessary for business use.
COMMERCIAL — Must be purchased (either downloadable or boxed item).
